MONTESSORI PROGRAM
A love of learning is one of the most important things that you can instill in your child. It’s the foundation upon which all future success is built. And yet, it’s something that must be nurtured and cultivated. Sprouts Education is a Montessori program serving students of central Vermont. Our engaging curriculum, passionate educators, and supportive environment all contribute to fostering your child’s intrinsic curiosity.
Our program is primarily focused on facilitating a comprehensive education which is not merely acquired by dictation; but instead, by creating foundational experiences in which children are participants in their own environment. We seek to foster each child’s intrinsic desire for learning by creating activities which are unique to each individual’s development and letting them lead their lesson plans based on their own specific interests.
Sierra Tabor is a dedicated educator with over 16 years of experience in early childhood education, known for her commitment to supporting the growth and development of young learners. She focuses on helping children build strong cognitive and emotional skills, providing a solid foundation for lifelong learning. As the director of Sprouts Education, Sierra creates an environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and emotional awareness, ensuring each child’s holistic development. By working closely with families, she extends learning beyond the classroom, promoting a collaborative approach that connects home, school, and community to support every child’s success.
It is clear that Sierra loves children and has a gift for working with them. She is beyond patient and kind while still making sure my children are being respectful and responsible. There’s no doubt in my mind that she has made a lasting difference in my children’s lives.— Dacia Ostlund
Sierra is wonderful with children, paying special attention to children’s interests and creativity.— Sonja Ayers
I am in awe of her true loving nature and ability to teach our children and set boundaries without ever raising her voice. She always seemed to have control over her surroundings, and she makes it look effortless! I cannot say enough or express how wonderful of a person Sierra is.— Jessica Duncklee
